INSTRUCTIONS:
Uninstall any previous version completely or the activation will not work.
1. Burn or mount, install with AUTOPLAY (important).
2. After installation choose ACTIVATE OVER INTERNET
3. After activation, CLOSE Office
4. Start office
5. Check the Help/ About Tab for Activation status
If AutoPlay did not occur, install by running BAT.EXE.

Thank you. I downloaded and installed it and everything seems to be working. So what’s the trick? Every other release seems to need some kind of activator?
Installed quickly without need to crack, everything works great.
Worked perfectly, obviously doesn’t make a difference if you run x64 or x32, but this is just to answer some posts on this thread -
I installed it without problem on x64 windows 7 ultimate.
UPDATE FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT ACTIVATE ONLINE:
MAK are all used up! New instructions for permanent activation while waiting for the MAK key to be refilled:
When MAK online activations are all used up, activate Office through phone until the MAK is refilled.
INSTRUCTION FOR PHONE ACTIVATION:
1. Select “Activate by Telephone” when the Microsoft Office Activation Wizard starts.
2. In the Activation Wizard, select the country/ region where you reside and then the appropriate TOLL FREE telephone number will be displayed.
3. Write down the Installation ID which is generated when you choose to activate through the automated telephone system.
4. Use the phone number provided on your Activation Wizard screen to call the Microsoft Activation Center.
5. Now a pre-recorded voice (NO actual human being…) will guide you through the activation process.
6. After your Installation ID is verified, you will receive a Confirmation ID.
7. In the Activation Wizard, type the Confirmation ID in the spaces provided at the bottom of the screen, and then press Continue.
8. Done! You’ve successfully activated your copy of Office Professional Plus 2010!
Activation by telephone works- make sure you enter the code correctly on the phone, and select option 1, then 1 again! And last of all, BE PATIENT! It takes about 3 mins on the phone to go through the whole process!
If you are not successful in picking the options (for example you picked 2 instead of 1 after you entered the code), try again the next day, 24 hours later, I did that and it worked!
